Lithium-ion batteries are lighter, more efficient, and have a higher energy density, which means they can store more energy in a smaller space. However, they also have a slower charging rate.

      The charging rate of a lithium-ion battery is limited by its internal resistance. When a battery is charging, the electrical current flows through the battery’s internal components, which creates resistance. The higher the resistance, the slower the charging rate. This is why electric cars take longer to charge than traditional cars.
